Built in 1926, our Grand Rapids Ballroom is an opulent statement of Italian Renaissance architectural style; its luxurious details—such as walnut paneling and wrought iron railings— have been meticulously cared for throughout the last century. It truly has one of the most unique looks of any of the wedding reception venues in Grand Rapids.
The Ballroom also features soaring vaulted ceilings, marble columns, terrazzo marbled floors, a sweeping, grand staircase, and built-in bar. With elevator access to the Ballroom’s Mezzanine, guests can overlook the party below and members of the wedding party can utilize the Ballroom Suite which offers a private restroom, full-length mirrors, and a spacious make-up counter. The Ballroom @ CityFlatsHotel – Grand Rapids can accommodate up to 200 individuals.
For intimate wedding celebrations, our Events Room offers a charming gathering space outfitted with its own bar and private bathrooms. The Events room accommodates up to 150 guests.
