Built in 1926, our Grand Rapids Ballroom is an opulent statement of Italian Renaissance architectural style; its luxurious details—such as walnut paneling and wrought iron railings— have been meticulously cared for throughout the last century.
The Ballroom also features soaring vaulted ceilings, marble columns, terrazzo marbled floors, a sweeping, grand staircase, and built-in bar. With elevator access to the Ballroom’s Mezzanine, guests can overlook the party below and members of the wedding party can utilize the Ballroom Suite which offers a private restroom, full-length mirrors, and a spacious make-up counter. The Ballroom @ CityFlatsHotel – Grand Rapids can accommodate up to 200 individuals.
For intimate celebrations, our Events Room offers a charming gathering space outfitted with its own bar and private bathrooms. The Events room accommodates up to 150 guests.
When you book your wedding with us, you can rest assured that your event will be flawlessly executed with the utmost care and expertise; our team of attentive wedding professionals work closely with couples to ensure that your special day will come to life just as you dreamed.
Gatherings at our venues will include tables outfitted in floor-length linens, elegant Chiavari chairs, full china place-settings with silver chargers, custom lighting, and setup/tear-down of our items. We exclusively provide in-house food/beverage catering and will collaborate with you to craft a delicious menu suited to your guests’ tastes.

Salon
Your wedding party might also wish to book private beauty services at our on-site salon. The Parlour can be reserved exclusively for your use.
